A new Batteries Plus store has opened in north Bismarck, bringing a new option for power solutions and electronic device repair to residents of Burleigh and Morton counties. The store, located at 1410 Skyline Boulevard, has taken over the former GameStop storefront, establishing its presence next to Walmart and America's Bedding. Its grand opening is slated for this Thursday, October 22, promising various promotions and community engagement.
The services offered by Batteries Plus include crucial car batteries, essential for vehicle maintenance in North Dakota's climate. Beyond automotive needs, the store also provides phone repair services, addressing common issues for mobile device users. Key fob replacements are another offering, catering to modern vehicle owners who require specialized assistance for their electronic keys. The store states it offers these solutions and 'more,' aiming to be a comprehensive resource for power and device needs.
A central claim from Batteries Plus is its competitive pricing strategy. The store claims to set prices for its products, such as car batteries, "50 percent lower than dealership prices." This pricing model aims to provide a cost-effective alternative for Bismarck and Mandan residents seeking replacements or repairs, potentially leading to significant savings for local consumers.
The grand opening event on Thursday is designed to introduce the new store to the community with a festive atmosphere and incentives. During this special day, Batteries Plus will be giving away a range of items. These giveaways include practical tools such as jump packs and small air compressors, useful for roadside emergencies or general vehicle upkeep. Attendees can also expect to receive flashlights, hats, T-shirts, and water bottles, along with other prizes. For those interested in participating in the grand opening festivities, local radio station Cool 98.7 will be broadcasting live directly from the store's location. This live broadcast provides an opportunity for residents to engage with the event and potentially register to win prizes on-site.
