During this period, the Bismarck landfill, located at 2111 N 52nd Street, will be open to residents from 6 a.m. through 4 p.m. each day. This includes access on both weekdays and Saturday, offering flexibility for various schedules.
To participate in the free disposal week, Bismarck residents must verify their residency upon arrival at the landfill facility. Acceptable forms of identification include their most recent City of Bismarck utility bill or a valid driver’s license. It is crucial that the presented identification clearly shows a Bismarck address that falls within the official city limits to qualify for the no-cost service.
The range of items eligible for free disposal during this specific week includes general waste brought to the main landfill operations. Additionally, residents can utilize the Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics building, which is also situated at the 2111 N 52nd Street landfill location, for the appropriate disposal of specific hazardous materials and electronic devices, all without a fee during the specified dates.
